We are proud to present one of the most interesting projects of Mikhail Kulikov – a truly wonderful holiday home in Sant Jordi d’Alfama, Tarragona province, Catalonia region. This is the oldest region of Spain with rich history, gorgeous wine, tasty Catalan cuisine, lots of city festivals and pristine sandy beaches of Costa Dorada.

This is a modern commodious two-storied villa in the first line. Several balconies and a roof observation deck give an excellent overview of the scenic surroundings. Spacious courtyard with a wonderful garden, swimming pool, sunbathing area and a barbecue spot are perfect for outdoor living. Villa is fully furnished and filled with pleasant light and fresh sea air. All this is complemented by an excellent climate system with air conditioning in each room.

The first floor

On the first floor, there is a huge living room with a fireplace furnished with soft furniture. Ideal to relax with a glass of wine and watch your favorite programs on flat screen satellite TV. Through the wide viewing window, you can enjoy natural lighting for most of the day as well as the view of the courtyard with a swimming pool of elegant shape, lush green bushes, splendid palm, fig and olive trees. From the living room, you can easily access to the terrace with a garden table where it is so good to savor a morning coffee and to have a dinner or barbeque with friends. There is also a dining area for 8 persons at the far side of the living room with its own spot lightning.

One of the doors of the living room leads to the home spa with sauna, hydro massage tub and half bathroom with toilet and sink. Here you can relieve the stress, burn some calories, flush toxins and emerge revived and ready for the new adventures.

The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary appliances: four-burner stove, oven, microwave, multicooker, coffee machine, electric kettle, refrigerator, wine fridge, dishwasher and a great variety of kitchenware, even hamon stand. If you do not host a dinner party you can quite easily use a small dining table for 5 persons on the kitchen on the daily basis.

The second floor

There are four bedrooms on the second floor: the master bedroom and three guest rooms. After climbing the stairs, you will see the door to the first guest room. A nice comfortable room with own bathroom furnished with double bed, spacious closet, chest of drawers with large mirror and two bedside tables. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, shower cabin, toilet, locker and mirror with illumination.

Further along the corridor to the left is the master bedroom. A bright, airy room with a king-size bed, flat screen satellite TV and a dressing room, where you can conveniently place your wardrobe and put valuables in the small safe. This room features wide viewing window from the floor to the ceiling on sunny side of the building which gives bright natural light for most of the day. If necessary, it can be closed with automatic shutters as well as the double door to the open terrace. The terrace has a considerable size and can be readily used for the morning yoga or equipped with necessary furniture, that you can enjoy the stunning view and sunbathe in comfort. The master bathroom is equipped with a sink, tub, bidet, toilet, locker, heated towel rail and mirror with illumination.

At the end of the corridor there are two more guest rooms. One is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, mirror, two bedside tables and a closet for personal belongings. The second room is furnished in the same style with two separate beds, two closets, bedside table and chest of drawers with a mirror. It also has a nice wide balcony on the sunny side of the building to enjoy the salty breeze and green pine trees. The double door to the balcony can be closed with automatic shutters if needed. These rooms have a shared bathroom with a sink, tub, toilet and mirror.

The roof

For even better view of the picturesque vicinity you can use a comfortable staircase from the second floor and go up to the roof observation deck of impressive size. Here you can meditate at dawn, listening to the birdsong and contemplating the sounds of waking nature, enjoy private sunbathing in the hot Spanish sun at day time or have a nightcap and stargaze in the evening. The light pollution is very low in this area and you can fully relish in the celestial spectacle in the sky.




The sea is literally ‘a stone’s throw’ from your temporary home – a couple of minutes and you’ll need to decide which beach to give preference today.
The closest one is the wide-spread sandy beach of Sant Jordi. It is distinguished by a very gentle slope into the water and a good sea breeze so vivifying in the summer heat. In the tourist season the beach is regularly cleaned and there is also a summer café with music and refreshments. There are showers with fresh water on both sides of the beach.

This is a very popular place for scuba divers and if you pass through the beach to the ruins of the castle of Sant Jordi on the cliff (visible from the beach) you’ll find a small dive club right next to the fortress.

Just behind the fortress there is a parking and a children's playground. If you go past the playground in a couple of minutes you’ll reach a picturesque descent to the sandy Crystal beach. It is smaller than Sant Jordi and quite narrow, but the cliffs help protect it from the wind. You may wish to move here, when the wind is too strong and it playful gusts blow away your umbrella or when you want some solitude from main mass of tourists. There are showers with fresh water on this beach as well.

If you like hiking, there is a nice comfortable track along the coast line marked with red paint, which you can follow from this beach.


To ensure that you are always at ease with your belongings during your absence, the villa is equipped with burglar alarm and automatic shutters in every room. When you go to the beach or explore the nearby town just don’t forget to turn it on and continue to enjoy your vacation without any worry.


For a change, you can visit the Tarragona city and spent some time wandering among ancient Roman ruins, visit museums and dine in excellent restaurants. For those who wish to refresh their wardrobe – there are shopping malls with famous and local brands in all diversity. And trying to visit them all is a real challenge even for the most experienced shoppers. The city is in a 40 minutes’ drive from the villa.

5 minutes’ less takes the road to Port Aventura – certainly well known to all who had ever visit Costa Dorada. This theme park amazes with its size and offered attractions, variety of bars and restaurants. By the way in 2014 this park became the first European resort, which hosts the Cirque du Soleil.

Moreover, for nature lovers, there is a vast territory to explore at the delta of the Ebre River – a natural reservation with rice fields, walking flamingos and a huge number of beautiful storks. In summer month, it's also a popular place for kite surfing.

All in all, your opportunities to find interesting places are limited only by your imagination. Fans of the ‘Game of Thrones’ can always take a trip to Seville and for those interested in history, there are ancient fortress in 30 minutes’ drive in Miravet or widely spread ruins of fortifications in Tortosa.
For antiques lovers – every Saturday from 9.00-14.00 there is a flea market in Reus city at Passeige de Sunyer. Here you can find a variety of interior items from antique lamps to caskets, glasses etc. and a lot of bookstands, where you can come across very interesting copies for little money. The road to Reus will take 40 minutes by car.
On the way back you can pick up fresh fish, meat, vegetables and a bottle of wine or cava for a pleasant dinner, generously seasoned with fresh impressions in Mercadona supermarket only 1,1 km. away from your beautiful villa.
This place is great for forgetting about the bustle of the city and enjoying life as you deserve.
